Common questions

Frequently asked.

Park Lane welcomes children aged 30 months to school age. We create mixed-age groupings that encourage mentorship between younger and older learners.
We ask that children are working on toilet training before they start. Accidents happen and we'll always support your child warmly, but independent toileting is part of the preschool readiness we look for.
A backpack with indoor shoes, a complete change of clothes, a water bottle, and weather-appropriate outerwear (we go outside in all weathers — rain boots and waterproofs are essential). Full-day children also bring a packed lunch. Please also bring a snack.
We take allergies and dietary restrictions extremely seriously — please let us know about any needs at enrolment and we'll work with you on a clear plan.
We operate within (and typically better than) British Columbia's Community Care and Assisted Living Act licensing standards. Our ratios are intentionally small so that every child is known, seen, and supported.
Please contact us directly to discuss current programme registration and subsidy eligibility. We're happy to help you navigate the process.
Absolutely — we warmly encourage it. Visit the contact page or call 250-589-1910 to book a tour.
