Our Saanich East location puts us in walking distance of Mount Tolmie Park, and a short drive from Uplands Park and Mount Douglas Park — the three forest sites that anchor our weekly Nature School sessions.

Park Lane was founded by two educators who live and work on southern Vancouver Island — Miss Kristin, with her MA in Education and 20+ years leading early-years settings, and Miss Meera, nationally recognised for her outdoor education work. We chose Saanich East because it sits at the geographic centre of where our families live: close to University of Victoria, Camosun College, the Royal Jubilee and Victoria General hospitals, and easy commuting distance from downtown.

What a week looks like

• Four mornings in the classroom — Montessori-inspired materials, early literacy work, purposeful play.
• One weekly Nature School session — a full morning in the forest, rain or shine.
• Daily outdoor play in our on-site garden and adjoining green space.
• Mixed-age group of children aged 30 months to school age, with a low adult-to-child ratio.
