From exploring the sensory trays to painting and learning phonics, our days are fun filled and busy! Park Lane Preschool is a vibrant early learning center dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young learners in an engaging, inclusive, and nurturing environment. We take a play-based and child-centered approach to preschool education, focusing on the holistic development of each child—socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. Our preschool values curiosity, creativity, and collaboration, providing opportunities for children to explore and discover their world while building essential skills for lifelong learning. Partnering with families, we strive to create a supportive community where children feel empowered to reach their full potential.

Exemption for Physical Requirements of facility
We have applied for the section of legislation related to the physical requirements of the facility. The legislation requires that "A licensee must have one toilet and wash basin for every 10 children or fewer. A licensee, other than a licensee who provides a care program described as a Family Child Care or in-home multi-age child care must ensure that the toilets and wash basins referred to in subsection (2) are on the same floor as the community care facility."
At Park Lane Preschool, we have one toilet and hand basin as well as one urinal on the same floor as the preschool facilities. There are 3 additional toilets and two washbins available for use on the upper floor of the facility. Children have supervised access to these additional toilets and washbasins throughout their preschool session. You are welcome to submit your input directly to Licencing and can also appeal this decision if granted by contacting our licensing officer, Linda Mellish, at the contact details below.
